Website design and rebuilds

Websites built to grow

We build websites, but we don’t build and walk away. Every build includes an initial period of Organic Presence, then moves onto a care plan. Your new site launches ready for Google and AI search, and a team keeps it working for you after launch day.

A build is one stage of the work

Most websites are finished on launch day and then left alone. Plugins drift out of date. Pages go stale. Search rankings slip. A year later the site needs rescuing.

We work differently. A build is the start of an ongoing relationship. For the first few months after launch, the site runs on Organic Presence, our monthly plan for search, AI visibility, content and reviews. After that it moves onto a care plan, or stays on Organic Presence if you want growth to continue.

That means the people who built your site are the people who look after it. They know how it was put together, and they can act fast when something needs changing.

When a rebuild is the right call, and when it is not

A rebuild makes sense when your current site is holding the business back. Common signs: it is slow on phones, it is hard or risky to edit, it runs on a theme or page builder that is no longer supported, it cannot show the services you actually sell, or its structure stops you adding the pages search needs.

A rebuild is often the wrong call when the site is sound but underused. If the design is fine and the platform is healthy, the gains usually come from better pages, cleaner markup, faster images and steady content. That is ongoing work, and it costs less than a new site.

We will tell you which one you need. Our Organic Presence Review looks at where you show up today on Google and in AI answers, and whether the site itself is the problem. Sometimes the honest answer is to keep what you have and fix it.

What every build includes

These are part of every site we build. They are the basics that let a site be found, trusted and measured.

Search and AI readiness

Clear service pages, sensible page structure and plain answers to the questions buyers ask. AI assistants such as ChatGPT, Google AI Mode and Perplexity lean on clear service pages when they recommend a business, so we build for them from day one.

Structured data (schema)

Markup that tells search engines and AI tools who you are, what you do and where you work. That includes business, service and FAQ markup where it fits the page.

Speed

Compressed and correctly sized images, lean page builds and caching set up properly. A fast site is easier to use and easier for search engines to crawl.

Accessibility basics

Readable text, sensible colour contrast, proper headings, image descriptions and forms that work with a keyboard. Good for every visitor, and good practice for any UK business.

Analytics

Analytics and Search Console set up and tested, with enquiry forms and calls tracked where possible. You will know what the site is doing from the first week.

UK hosting

Your site runs on our managed UK servers, with LiteSpeed for speed, regular backups and security monitoring. Hosting moves onto your care plan after the first few months.

Platforms we build on

WordPress is our main platform. We build with Elementor and Divi, which keeps the site editable for your team without touching code. WordPress suits businesses with lots of service pages, locations, articles or integrations.

Squarespace suits smaller sites and teams who want a simple, hosted editor. We build and extend Squarespace sites too, including multi-page sections with FAQ markup and clear navigation between them.

We look after more than 50 websites across both platforms, so we recommend the platform that fits how your team will run the site.

How a build works

A clear sequence, with you signing off each stage.

1

Review

We look at your current site, your search visibility and how AI assistants describe you today. We agree whether a rebuild is the right move.

2

Plan

We map the pages, the services they cover and the questions they answer. You see the structure before any design starts.

3

Design and build

We design key pages first, then build the full site on WordPress or Squarespace with schema, speed and accessibility built in.

4

Content and checks

We load and check content, set up redirects from old pages, test forms, set up analytics and check the site on phones and desktops.

5

Launch

We move the site onto UK hosting, submit it to Google and watch it closely in the first weeks.

6

Grow

Your first months of Organic Presence start at launch. After that, the site moves onto a care plan or continues on Organic Presence.

Website build questions

Most new websites start from £2,950 excluding VAT. We price each build on its scope, so you get a fixed quote for your site rather than a per-page rate. Every quote includes an initial period of Organic Presence after launch, UK hosting for that period, schema, speed work, accessibility basics and analytics. After that, the site moves onto a care plan from £49 a month.

Every build includes an initial period of Organic Presence, because a new site needs that early work to settle in on Google and in AI answers. After that, you choose. Most clients either continue on Organic Presence or move onto a care plan, which covers updates, backups, security and UK hosting. We don’t build sites and walk away from them.

Rebuild if the site is slow, hard to edit, on an unsupported theme or cannot show what you sell. Improve it if the platform is healthy and the design still works. In that case better pages, schema, speed and content usually deliver more for less money. Our Organic Presence Review gives you a straight answer either way.

Both. WordPress, built with Elementor or Divi, suits sites with many service pages, locations or integrations. Squarespace suits smaller sites and teams who want a simple hosted editor. We look after more than 50 websites across both platforms, and we recommend the one that fits how your team will run the site day to day.

Yes. AI assistants such as ChatGPT, Google AI Mode and Perplexity recommend businesses using clear service pages, reviews and trusted listings. Every site we build has structured service pages, plain answers to buyer questions and schema markup that describes your business. The first months of Organic Presence after launch then work on reviews, listings and content.

We plan for it from the start. We map every existing page that brings in traffic, keep or improve the pages that rank, and set up redirects from old addresses to new ones. After launch we watch Search Console closely and fix any problems quickly. Some movement in the first weeks is normal, and the early Organic Presence work is there to steady it.
